Spring & Sauna Collection: In Your Own Time

Step into the warmth of a wooden sauna and look closely, what first appears to be a painting on the wall reveals itself as a window onto a cold, refreshing pond.

This atmospheric sauna art print captures the contrast between firelit warmth and icy outdoor water, complete with a gingerly stepping bather, a happy swimmer and a cat quietly minding its own business.

Printed on rich, textured 315gsm Cold Press Watercolour Paper using archival inks, it is ready to frame and bring a little calm, humour and escapism to your home.

In Your Own Time

Between heat and cold

Inside a wooden sauna, the fire is glowing and the room is hot. At first, the scene appears to be a picture hanging on the wall, but look again. It is actually a window.

Beyond the glass, someone is carefully stepping into a cold pond, while another swimmer enjoys the water completely. Nearby, a cat carries on with its day, apparently unimpressed by the whole experience.

This sauna-inspired art print celebrates the small details that make a relaxing escape memorable: the warmth of the timber, the glow of the fire, the shock of cold water and the quiet pleasure of simply being present.

Inspired by a visit to Spring and Sauna, this print is ideal for sauna lovers, wild-swimming enthusiasts, cabin interiors, bathroom galleries or anyone who enjoys artwork with a story hidden inside it.

    Summer

     Price range: £58.00 through £85.00

Drift into the warm, hazy embrace of Summer, a new original: a canvas that speaks of languid afternoons, gentle light and the quiet glow of nothing and everything. Inspired by a season where time slowed and stretched, this abstract work uses layers of rose, blush and petal-tones to evoke that soft stillness.

Imagine walking barefoot on a sun-warmed deck, a pale breeze rising, nothing urgent on the horizon and yet something expansive stirring underneath. In my journal post “A Summer of Doing Nothing (and Everything)”, I wrote about letting the day widen and soften, letting colour take over. Summer flows from that very feeling.

Here, the pinks are both bold and gentle: they calm the eye and warm the space. Brush-marks and subtle washes mingle with richer accents, creating a surface that invites your attention, then gently allows you to rest. It is for the room where you want the pace to slow, the mood to lighten, and the everyday to feel a little more luminous.

Why this piece might speak to you:

    • Introduces a serene yet uplifting pink palette, perfect for spaces needing softness with personality.

    • Designed to complement minimalist, Scandinavian, or relaxed coastal interiors, but bold enough to stand alone as a central statement.

    • Created to hold your attention when you want to engage, and dissolve into a calming background when you want to simply breathe.

Bring Summer into your home when you’re ready to give your walls a moment of uncluttered calm, a splash of warmth and the unhurried rhythm of still-sunlit hours.

    Misty Autumn

     Price range: £24.00 through £80.00

Autumn always comes to me as a shock that summer is over. This year, it appeared as a misty grey morning. The sunflowers were in full bloom, shining like suns in contrast to the grey sky.
