Find Your Joy
I create gentle, joyful spaces where you can explore drawing and painting — whether you’re a complete beginner or returning to creativity after years away. There are no “right” outcomes here, just the simple pleasure of looking, feeling, making, and connecting. You can’t get it wrong.
My approach blends fine art techniques with mindfulness and a big dose of kindness. You'll gain confidence and enjoy a few hours where life’s worries dissolve through the joy of making. With live demonstrations and individual guidance, I’ll support you to trust your hand, your eye, and your heart. It’s less about being an artist, and more about being yourself. I run workshops in and around Sussex, often in collaboration with wonderful groups like Art & Soul. You’re guaranteed a few quiet, reflective moments — and amongst it all, plenty of laughter. We’ll learn drawing techniques, experiment with different media, and share good conversation (and of course, tea, coffee, and biscuits!).

Frequently asked questions
Nope. Many of my favourite moments come from people who say they “can’t draw.” All you need is curiosity and a willingness to try.
I’ll email you a materials list and appropriate clothing before the session — usually a sketchbook, pencils, and some ink. Sometimes I provide materials too.
For outdoor sessions, I always have a plan B. We’ll reschedule or find a way to adapt the space with shelter.
Absolutely. These workshops are gentle, supportive, and light-hearted. It’s all about process, not perfection.
Workshops are kept small — never more than 15 people. There’s always room for quiet and space to breathe.
I can host groups — just get in touch. I don’t offer private 1-to-1s unless under special circumstances.
